Skills and Spells

Each skill corresponds to one of the schools. The character who mastered the secrets of a certain school can use its skills more effectively. As a rule each of the characters can learn from only three of the schools. Which ones he will learn from and what level he will reach depends on the specialty.

	Mysticism The school of astral spells. These incantations are uttered in the language of pure unblemished power and, as a rule, are of energetic effect. This school is most typical for mages, but necromancers and vampires have access to it as well.
	Elemental Forces The school of spells that are made on the basis of the first elements: fire, water, soil and air. There is a variety of fundamental elements, their influence may be multifarious. This is the school of sorcerers, but it’s is also accessible to mages.
	Necromancy The school of magic of death, its adherents take their strength from transcendental turning of alive objects into dead ones, but may spend it also on the reverse process. The school was maximally developed among necromancers but vampires and demons also have natural facilities to study these skills.
	Theology The school of magic that takes strength directly from the gods and requires not practicing sorcery but praying. The gods of Light share their strength in exchange for belief and mental energy of its apprentices instead of receiving other sacrifices. That’s why the skills learnt in this school are of the same nature. This school adherents are clerics and paladins.
	Shamanism The school of ritual magic that bases on the ancestors’ experience of speaking to the ancient gods and using the nature strength. Here poisons and decoctions got to be widely used. Shamans are led into the secrets of this school more than others, but well-trained barbarians also know something on it.
	Naturalism The school of spells that require becoming a single whole with the nature and allows an apprentice to control plants, trees, animals and also his own body(though just to some extent). Druids got into the school secrets deeper than others though shamans and clerics also have some of these skills.
	Improved Mental The school of magic skills of influence on the consciousness through astral image. Unlike many other schools of magic the aim of this school is not finding the source of strength for it deals with complexity of the object under its influence. That’s why it’s not taught in other schools. It is vampires who master the mental paternosters (though, shamans can use it as well, but a bit worse than the first ones).
	Diablerie The school of black magic based on destructive fiery power of the underground world and its severe gods. The secrets of the school are carefully guarded by demons.
	Combat Magic The magic school that specializes in perfection of the attack spells regardless of their strength. The followers of the school are mages and sorcerers, though they master the skills not in the very beginning of their career.
	Meditation The school where they learn skills of focusing or dispersing attention in order to mobilize inner strength. Clerics, druids and warriors feel the greatest need for it.
	Master Weapon The school the adherents of which get into the secrets of making the most effective cold steel stabs. The masters who founded this school in ancient times brought out general principles of handling weapon regardless to its kind that is why the learning is good for all the kinds of fighters such as warriors, barbarians, samurais, ninjas, paladins and even druids, though different specialties come to understanding of this school on different levels of their development.
	Kendo The school where they learn the skills of delivering specific kinds of blows with swords, katanas, in particular. Secrets of the school are carefully guarded by samurais.
	Advanced Fighting The school where they learn the skills of combating that includes using not only simple kinds of weapon. Such skills turn to be necessary for warriors, barbarians, samurais, ninjia and demons.
	Ninjutsu The fighting school adherents of which master skills of striking crushing blows with hands or a knife. To master it they must learn how to sneak up to their victims. Secrets of the school are carefully guarded by ninjias.
